Elections

Sierra Club California understands the importance of political endorsements and takes our process seriously.  Endorsements on statewide offices go through two local political committees and a statewide legislative committee.  All positions taken on initiatives require approval from the California/Nevada Regional Conservation Committee, which comprises a steering committee, as well as delegates from all 13 chapters in California.

Below are Sierra Club California’s endorsements to date for the 2012 elections.  Please visit this page periodically for updates.
